FAQ

Our bodies weren’t designed for the sedentary lifestyles and repetitive movements we often engage in today. We were designed to move in a variety of ways, and without that stimulation, our musculoskeletal system can suffer. At Spiral Health, we address the underlying issues causing pain and discomfort through corrective exercises and postural adjustments.

Our approach focuses on addressing the root cause of pain and discomfort, rather than just treating symptoms. Our coaches work with clients to identify the underlying issues causing pain, and then provide education and tools to help them become their own healers and posture mechanics. Our evidence-based approach delivers long-term results that strengthen and reposition the body consistently over time.

Our coaching sessions are hands-off and non-invasive, providing clients with the education and tools needed to become their own posture mechanics. This approach makes remote appointments possible and more accessible, especially during a global pandemic. We don’t touch or manipulate your body like a chiropractor or massage therapist would, and instead provide a sense of confidence and control over your health.

While the benefits of our therapy can be noticed quickly, it takes time to see true, lasting results. Our program requires a daily routine of 15-20 minutes for sixteen weeks to reinforce proper joint positioning and healthy movement patterns. We advise against starting the program until you are able to make the time and are ready to make a serious commitment for your health.

It is recommended to wear form-fitting clothing, such as athletic wear or tight-fitting jeans, and to avoid baggy or loose clothing. The scan subject should also wear minimal jewelry and remove any items from pockets.

Yes, the Spiral 360 body scan uses infrared depth sensor technology that is commonly found in everyday devices like cell phones and laptops. The same technology is also used in facial recognition software. Unlike medical or security body scanners, there is no radiation involved. The infrared lasers used in the scanner are about as strong as an average laser pointer.

Your scan data is kept secure and private. Only you and the professionals you choose to share it with have access to it. We use secure servers to store the data, and we never share it with any third parties without your explicit consent.

If you have any medical concerns or conditions, it is always recommended to consult with your healthcare provider before using the Spiral 360 body scan. While the scan is safe for most people, there may be some cases where it is not appropriate.

It is recommended to get a body scan once a month, depending on your personal health goals and needs. This can help you track progress and make adjustments to your fitness and wellness routine as needed.
